Conquer the Course is a charity walk and fun run being held at the Mornington Racecourse to raise funds for Peninsula Home Hospice, offering pallative care to people of all ages across the Mornington Peninsula.
You can walk, skip, run, or wheel your way around the 5km or 2km course. Entrants with wheelchairs, prams, walking frames, and mobility scooters are welcome and encouraged to join in!

What’s Palliative Care?
Palliative care helps those with a life-limiting illness live comfortably and with dignity, improving quality of life whilst supporting family and friends involved in care. Symptoms may be physical, emotional, spiritual or social and so services are delivered on an individual basis that may include:
Relief of pain and other symptoms
Resources such as equipment needed to aid care at home
Assistance for families to come together to talk about sensitive issues
Links to other services such as home help and financial support
Support for people to meet cultural obligations
Support for emotional, social and spiritual concerns
Counselling and grief support
Referrals to respite care services
Bereavement support
